| Marco Abella has the use of 30 hectares of vineyards, of which 23 are under direct ownership. The grape varieties are in the main local: Garnatxa (13,5 ha), Carinyena (11 ha). The rest of varieties are Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Macabeu and Garnatxa Blanca. The old vines are of Carinyena and Garnatxa varieties, the Priorat’s classic grapes which have an average age of 50-60 years old. Of the 30 hectares, 23 are to be found within the Porrera municipal limits and 7 within those of Gratallops. |
